Jafreen is currently doing MSc in Economics in Brac University. She is Co-Director in ClimAcademy where she assists with the preparation of online courses on climate change. She has written many articles related to climate change, politics, and economics. She has volunteered in many climate related organizations, both nationally and internationally. Her main interest is in the climate change sector.

Jose Arrieta (Peru)

Jose  is the Country Coordinator (Peru) for YOUNGO's 16th Conference of Youth (COY16), Climate Ambassador of the Global Youth Climate Network (GYCN), and a Climate Reality Leader with The Climate Reality Project. He is also Leader of the Peruvian Chapter of Citizens' Climate Lobby, TEDx Licensee and Managing Director of TEDxBarranco, and President and Co-founder of SocialGood Peru. 

Ajinkya Kayarkar (India)

Ajinkya is a passionate environmentalist and from very young age he has been actively working on behalf of his father's NGO in the field of environmental conservation. Currently, he is working at a lake management project and he wants to pursue a career in sustainability domain. He is also a member of the UNFCCC YOUNGO ACE.

Gharbins Albert (Ghana)

Leading McGharbins Network which serves as a youth platform in Ghana where advocacy for achieving the SDGs at the grassroots level has been strongly initiated for the past 5 years. Participated in the Katowice Climate Change Conference in Poland,2018. Currently serves as a member of UNFCCC YOUNGO - ACE WG.

Disha Sarkar (India)

International Youth Conference 2021


Disha, a  24 years old  Youth Advocate, holds her Masters in Political Science and B.Sc in Zoology. She was  the Indian Youth Ambassador in the International Youth Conference 2021. She is a Member of the Leadership Team of Generation Next Network, USA, and has led several “Mentorship Circle” Projects to provide Capacity Building Opportunities to youths from  her state , Assam.

Bas Tuenter (Netherlands)

Founder, Sustainables


Bas  is the contact point of the ACE WG of YOUNGO, the youth constituency of the UNFCCC & founder of Sustainables, a company which replaces single-use scientific disposables by reusable material in combination with a cleaning service. Born in the Netherlands, he studied Molecular Life Sciences at the Radboud University with an interest in climate action, education and empowerment.

Adamou Ndam (Cameroon)

Brac University


Adamou is a passionate climate and environmental scientist from Yaoundé Cameroon. Currently studying a Masters program in environmental sciences, quite specialised in DRR, waste and sewage treatment, and carbon stock inventory. Volunteering with some NGOs and CSOs both national and international, in the fight against climate change. Also a member of the UNFCCC YOUNGO ACE WG.

Marta Trofimova (Ukraine)

Professional Government Association (PGA) of Ukraine


Marta is a board member of the PGA, which facilitates public administration reforms in Ukraine. She has pioneered the climate governance agenda of the PGA, leading projects to emphasize the implications of climate policy issues across sectors. She holds a MA in Environmental policy from the University of Cambridge and  works as a climate change and sustainability consultant at EY (Ernst & Young).

Sahana Kaur (Malaysia)

Founder and Director, Project All For All


Sahana, 16, is the Founder and Director of Project All For All, a nonprofit empowering young people to participate in civic engagement which has reached thousands of people from almost 100 countries. She also is Chair of Amnesty International Malaysia’s Youth Committee, an organizer of the 2021 ACE Youth Forum, and also a recipient of the EARCOS Global Citizenship Award.

As a member NGO of YOUNGO, GYDI prioritizes support for youth engagement in the UNFCCC process. The youth Delegation for the virtual SB - comprised of young leaders from 15 countries - reflects GYDI's commitment to fostering both diverse inclusion and international collaboration in addressing climate change.

Raheem is a passionate youth activist and the founder and Co-Chair of the TAMCC Environment and Awareness Movement, a college club which empowers and engages students in environmental and climate related  activities. He is an active member of CYEN Grenada chapter, and its regional climate change working group. He is also actively engaged in YOUNGO and its working groups.

Kelly Guevara (Peru)

Member of the Global Coordination Team of YOUNGO


Kelly is a public manager and climate activist with 6 years of experience in public policies, capacity building, and partnerships. Her work has focused on the social and public sector. Currently, Kelly is serving as a Gender and Youth Fellow at the Inter-American Institute for Cooperation on Agriculture and she is the National Co-coordinator in Peru for RCOY LAC with Peruvian Youth against Climate Change.

Etuknwa itorobong Raphael (Nigeria)

Raphael is a youth climate/environmental activist and a masters student in Social Work. He is founder of Ralph Foods Limited and the Awareness Movement of Boy's Brigade 2 Benin North company Nigeria, a college club which empowers and engages students in advocacy, press, and climate related activities; and a member of oikos chapter international and its regional climate change working group.

María Agustina Rodríguez Ortiz de Rozas (Argentina)

Graduate in Sustainable Environmental Management. Currently enrolled in a Master's program in Social Development. Founder of “Más Sostenible”, which is a project that helps people to live in a more sustainable way. Member of UNFCCC YOUNGO - ACE WG.

Chandelle O’Neil (they/them) (Trinidad & Tobago)

Founder, Mawu Energy


Chandelle is a sustainable energy specialist and human rights advocate currently pursuing a post-grad diploma in Global Leadership with the UN Mandated University for Peace.  They are a Healthy and Environmentally-Friendly Youth (HEY) Ambassador and a World Literacy Foundation Ambassador. They are also a member of YOUNGO and the Commonwealth Youth Climate Change Network.
